2. What we collect
Free preview form
When you request a free preview, we collect what you type in the form: business name, industry, city and state, your current website or social media page (optional), your name (optional) and your email. If you used the website checkup first, we also store the address you checked and its score.
Website checkup
The checkup analyzes the public homepage of the address you type. To do it, our server reads that page and its public robots.txt and sitemap files, and asks Google PageSpeed Insights to measure it. We do not ask for your name or email to run a checkup. Results may be cached for a few hours so repeated checks are faster.
Visit statistics
We count page visits with our own cookie-free analytics. It records the page you visited, the referring website and general campaign tags (for example, utm_source), plus clicks on contact links such as email, phone or WhatsApp. It does not use cookies, does not build a profile of you and does not follow you across other websites. You can opt out in your browser by opening any page of this site with ?habita=off at the end of the address.
Emails and messages
If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you send, plus your email address or phone number.
3. How we use it
- To build your preview and reply to your request.
- To deliver, publish and support your website if you become a client, and to send invoices.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve this website.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
4. Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and our services, such as our hosting and server infrastructure provider (Cloudflare), Google (for the PageSpeed measurement and fonts), the email provider we use to reply to you, PayPal or the card processor for payments, and WhatsApp if you choose to contact us there. They process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. Some of these providers store data outside your country.
5. How long we keep it
We keep preview requests for as long as needed to follow up on them, and no longer than 24 months if you do not become a client. Client information is kept while we provide the service and afterwards as required for accounting and legal purposes.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will reply within a reasonable time.
7. Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with its effective date.
